In the city of St. Gallen, various participating partners and service providers want to optimize the welcoming culture. In this project, this variously interpreted term refers to infrastructure, visitor guidance and information as well as to soft factors such as conveying a “St. Gallen feeling”.
gutundgut first conducted an analysis of the current situation. Within the framework of a two-part workshop, the guest’s point of view was discussed in a city tour with role play, and then the needs of the guests as well as the service providers were evaluated with the participants – from the hotel owner to the city guide. From this, fields of action and a prioritization of measures were presented to the strategic committee.
