The association „Morges Fleur du Léman“ has asked gutundgut to realize a creative project in connection with the annual tulip festival. As a result, visitors can now permanently admire the beautiful and unique sculpture „Silver Parrot (2020)“ at the Parc de l’Indépendence in Morges. The aim of the installation is to create a connection between art and tourism.
With Leo Orta, a young artist from France, gutungut has found the perfect creative partner for the project. He graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven and had previously shown his work at international art fairs such as Art Basel or Frieze in London. Furthermore, his work was displayed in exhibitions at the Museo Marino Marini, the Design Museum Gent as well as at Le Tripostal in Lille. With „Silver Parrot“, Leo Orta has realized his biggest art project to date.
