In the regions of Imereti and Kakheti in Georgia, new tourism offers are being developed. Existing offers in the areas of local food and wine, accommodations and crafts were located and linked with each other through the implementation of tourism clusters in each region.
In the near future, the tourism clusters will provide a variety of services to its members including different activities in knowledge transfer, product development and marketing in order to attract new visitors and create jobs.
Our client for this mandate was the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), an organization we previously developed projects for in Albania. As a specialist in the field of cultural heritage and crafts, the Swiss expert Mila Trombitas supported our team during this assignment.
