The Hotel Tannenboden in Flumserberg is a well-run hotel with a long family tradition. To ensure a long-term operation of the hotel the Swiss Association for Hotel Financing has advised to reframe the hotel and refurbish the rooms without wet cells or even think about a completely new construction.

Following intense discussion, gutundgut has come up with the idea of a dog hotel. The concept was inspired by the guest’s and the host’s already existing high affinity for this theme. This focus should be directly related to the possible reconstruction or partial new construction which is currently being reviewed.
